Un hommage lui est rendu ici
C'est lui qui a organisé la deuxième conférence internationale B à Montpellier.
Les t-shirts que nous portons "Let it B !" c'est lui qui en avait eu l'idée.
J'ai connu Claude Boksenbaum lors d'une école d'automne de l'Afcet qu'il avait organisée. Je me souviens de son doux sourire, de son humour tendre.
Il avait fait un CD d'interviews de grands informaticiens. ... et je pense que c'est lui qui m'a conduit une fois en retraite à m'inscrire comme étudiant en master d'histoire des sciences au Centre François Viète de Nantes pour faire un mémoire sur l'histoire des méthodes de développement des logiciels.

Esquisse 5
Cette formule concert présente un répertoire entièrement composé mélangeant musique bretonne, musique cubaine, jazz et musique électronique...Le quintet se compose donc de Thomas Badeau à la clarinette, Vincent Marin aux Bombardes et saxophones, François Badeau à l'accordéon diatonique, Pierre Le Normand à la batterie et Olivier Congar aux percussions afro-cubaines. Cet ensemble créé un son unique grâce à l'utilisation des instruments traditionnels et l'application d'effets électroniques. Le spectacle est mis en scène par Caroline Ain, mis en lumière par Fabienne Bardeau et sonorisé par Benoît Foucault

In the IUT of Nantes (near the cathedral), wifi will be free.
You will have special account. You can use public transportation (but walking is very convenient) :
- Cité des Congrès : Busway line 4,
stop Place Foch (the population of Nantes call this place : Place Louis XVI)
and then
you have 5 minutes walk

- Sortie SUD (South) (signs in the Railway Station, Signs indicating the Cité des Congrès)
- When outside the Railway Station, turn right (Quai Malakof). The stop of the airport shuttle (Tan Air) is very close the rundabout.
- You pass on a river (River Erdre). On your left you see boats
- Immediately you turn left (Quai Ferdinand Favre)
- On your right you see the Hammam and the L.U. (Lieu Unique)

In 2008 the University of Nantes will be holding an extensive series of no less than 22 one-day conferences in a wide range of subjects from science and technology, biology and health, and human and social sciences. These will all take place at the impressive large modern purpose-built venue of the "Cite Internationale des Congres" in the centre of Nantes, and are expected to attract up to 1250 participants altogether. Within such a context the above one-day conference on the B Method will be held on 16 June 2008.

Topics of interest will include (but will not be restricted to):
- * Tool support for software engineering with the B method,
- * Teaching environments for the B method,
- * The B method in the software engineering curriculum,
- * Combining the B method with other approaches,

- * Use of the B method in disciplines other than software engineering,
- * New advances in the B method and their incorporation into the teaching curriculum.
